I know this is a Adventure Time Tumblr, but here in Brazil is happening a revolution. We really need your help to show the world what’s really happening around here. This is a short video that tells about why we’re fighting. Tomorrow we’re gonna have another manifestation. If you live here in Brazil please come, even I am gonna be there. We just want a better country, and we need to make it happen.

I’m not a political person, I never was, and I probably gonna lose some followers, but at least I’m losing then for a good reason. What is happening here is this:

First of all, english is not my mother tongue, so, please ignore any grammar error - or, even better, please correct me through my ask box, so I can fix it - and please, give me five minutes to pay attention at this video.
I live in Brazil. My country is about to host the World Cup, the Olympics, and we have the Confederations Cup happening at this very moment. This is very nice for a country, you might say, taking for example what happened in places like Barcelona, but this is not what is happening here in Brazil.

Last week, in my hometown, Sao Paulo - the biggest city in the country, maybe even you ever heard about it before - we had four big protests concerning a thing that might look simple if you look at the surface of it: the bus fee changed from R$3 to R$3,20. Twenty cents, you might say, but it was the last drop of water in a glass full of frustration in which we have been living in the last decades. This video below shows perfectally the situation we’re living in.

In those act in past week, everything started with a peaceful protest, and changed into a big demonstration of how our police is unprepared and violent. You can search at such news websites as CNN, BBC, The New York Times, I mean, the main media is showing this, and we will not be silenced. You can look here, through Tumblr, in such pages as saladuprising.tumblr.com (SALAD UPRISING, you’re not reading it wrong. A journalist was arrested because he had a bottle of vinegar. And many people. I’M NOT JOKING.), brazilianprotests.tumblr.com, or searching through the tags change brasil, salad uprising, v for vinegar, and in several Facebook pages.
